The Workshop · by Bristol AI Shed
Two weeks. Four live sessions. Six hours of training. Walk away using AI as a real working tool, with multiple things you've built for your actual job.
Next cohort: Tue 7 Jul – Fri 17 Jul 2026 · Tuesdays & Fridays · Max 8 seats · £399
Marketing and commercial people, all levels, who want to use AI more productively in their work. Whether you use it daily or barely, the aim is the same: a new level of AI capability you can put into practice immediately.
What you walk away with
You use AI. You suspect you could be doing a lot more with it. You read about advanced workflows and feel a step behind. Most courses you find demand a technical basis you don't have. The Workshop changes that.
Stop feeling behind. Catch up on what's actually possible and get a clear path from how you use AI now to where you want to be. No more wondering which workflow to copy or whether you're doing it right.
The right way to do things. Build the reflexes that come from real commercial and marketing work: when to trust AI, when to verify, what it lies about, how to brief it well.
Practical skills you can lead with. Walk away with multiple AI tools built for your actual job, ready to use Monday and share with your team. No technical basis required, ever.
From a recent training session
“I've come away feeling really excited about what AI can do, and it's really opened my eyes. Since our session, I've already used AI in a ridiculous number of new ways and significantly improved my output so much.”

The curriculum
Tuesdays and Fridays, 12:00–13:30 UK. Four builds across the course, one polished and shown in the final session. Each session: ~50 min teach & demo, ~30 min hands-on practice, ~10 min build brief.
Session 1 · Week 1, Tuesday · Tue 7 Jul
Set up your AI stack properly. Pick your tools, brief them on you (role, tone, priorities), build your always-on assistant. Walk out with AI that knows you and works the way you work.
Your personal AI assistant.
Use it for 3 daily tasks before Friday.
Session 2 · Week 1, Friday · Fri 10 Jul
Brand voice, content workflows, audience and competitor research. Build a marketing tool you'll actually open on Monday.
A marketing tool: campaign landing page, lead-capture game, content writer, personal designer.
Use it on one real marketing job before Session 3.
Session 3 · Week 2, Tuesday · Tue 14 Jul
Sales, pipeline, ops. Personalised outbound, account research, meeting prep, turning the messy stuff into structured output.
A commercial tool: forecast or P&L review, pricing analysis, competitor research.
Use it on one real commercial task before Friday.
Session 4 · Week 2, Friday · Fri 17 Jul
Your project, your turn. Polish one of the three you've built, pick from our suggested-project menu, or build something brand new. Show it to the cohort. Get feedback. Walk out with momentum.
One thing, polished, presented in 5–7 min.
None. You graduate. Use what you built.
What you keep
When you finish the course, you don't lose anything. Recordings, prompts, blueprints, yours to keep.

For teams · Build it yourself
Same 2-week structure, same Tue/Fri rhythm, your curriculum.
The public Workshop teaches your people the AI fundamentals. For teams, you can swap in modules that go further: automating recurring work, customising AI to how your team works, and getting your policy right. Pick the four that matter.

Get a quoteYes. We demo in Claude and Claude Code because that's our stack of choice, but everything we teach works in ChatGPT, Gemini, and most other LLMs. We call out the equivalents as we go.
No. The whole course is designed for non-technical commercial and marketing people. If you can use email and a browser, you can do this. We meet you where you are.
There are only four sessions, so pick a month when you can definitely make all of them. We do record every session and upload to your private GitHub repo within 24 hours, so you can catch up if you miss one. But you'll get the full value when you attend all four live.
You build in every session, not just at the end. Across the four sessions you'll ship a personal AI assistant (Session 1), a marketing tool (Session 2), a commercial tool (Session 3), and polish one of them (or build something brand new) to show in Session 4. Past examples: a brand voice writer, a weekly competitor scanner, a content brief generator, a custom research assistant.
Just a free Claude or ChatGPT account to get started. We may introduce Claude Code in Session 3 for those who want to go further, but it's optional. We do recommend a paid subscription to Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to get the most out of the training. Even just for one month and then cancel. Our belief is it lets you do so much more.
£399 covers six hours of live training in a small cohort, lifetime access to all materials, and the alumni community. There are no upsells, no tiers, no hidden modules. If you want 1:1 coaching beyond the course, that's a separate consultancy engagement.
Yes. Email us at hello@bristolaished.com and we'll send an invoice.
The Workshop is a Bristol AI Shed sub-brand, but it's separate from the events. The events are community-first and free; The Workshop is a paid training programme. They share DNA, not delivery.
